Job Description: 

FinHero, a fast-growing fintech startup, is seeking a skilled and creative Frontend Engineer to join our innovative team. As a Frontend Engineer at FinHero, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing user-friendly interfaces for our fintech applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences that meet the needs of our customers. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to understand and translate user requirements and design mockups into functional frontend solutions.

• Develop responsive, high-performance web applications using modern frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Implement user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and optimized for usability across different devices and browsers.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of frontend applications to ensure quality and reliability.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to define and consume APIs, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.

• Stay updated with emerging frontend trends, technologies, and best practices, and proactively propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance our user experiences.

• Optimize frontend performance to ensure fast loading times and smooth user interactions.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to provide feedback and contribute to the design process, offering insights and suggestions for improvement.

• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, provide constructive feedback, and ensure consistency across the codebase.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in frontend web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and a solid understanding of their core principles and best practices.

• Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers, such as Webpack, Babel, or npm.

• Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience consuming APIs in frontend applications.

• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.

• Experience with frontend testing frameworks, such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine, and a commitment to writing testable code.

• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with designers.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
